To celebrate the start of Global Sharing Week, the first Share for Shabbat will take place at the Brighton and Hove Progressive Synagogue at 11am on Saturday June 15th. Global Sharing Economy expert, speaker and change-maker Benita Matofska will be giving a talk as part of the Shabbat morning service and the community are asked to bring non-perishable food and toiletries to share with Brighton and Hove Voices in Exile who support refugees in the city. The idea is to inspire more sharing and demonstrate the power of sharing to change lives. The Sabbath is a day of rest and peace and this first #ShareforShabbat we hope will inspire others around the world.
